How to challenge a Penalty Charge Notice:
Write the PCN number on the back of the cheque or postal order and send to:
By post - Make your cheque or postal order payable to: 'Fife Council'.By telephone - You can pay by credit or debit card by calling 03.Online - Use the link at the top of the page.Please note, it is not possible to pay the outstanding charge and then appeal or challenge the Penalty Charge Notice.If the penalty charge is paid before 14 days, beginning with the date of the notice, the amount of the penalty charge will be reduced by 50% ( £30).The penalty charge ( £60) must be paid, which means we must have received payment, before 28 days have passed, beginning with the date of the notice.
